Austria PV Obligation for New Buildings 2025

Since January 1, 2025, a PV obligation applies to all new buildings in Austria with a roof area of at least 50 m². At least 50% of the roof area must be equipped with a photovoltaic system. This is part of Austria's efforts to expand renewable energy.
