BR18 Energy Frames for Residential Buildings
The Danish Building Regulations (BR18) specify that the total energy demand for heating, ventilation, cooling, and domestic hot water in residential buildings, dormitories, hotels, and similar structures must not exceed 30.0 kWh/m² per year, plus 1,000 kWh per year divided by the heated floor area. This regulation aims to ensure energy efficiency in new constructions and major renovations.
