ECHA Updated PFAS Restriction Proposal (Aug 2025)

In August 2025, ECHA published an updated PFAS restriction proposal, incorporating feedback from over 5,600 comments. This revision introduced a third restriction option (RO3) allowing continued use under strict conditions and expanded the scope to include eight new sectors, such as sealing applications and technical textiles, for evaluation.
