Energy label obligation extended to monuments

From May 29, 2026, the energy label obligation will also apply to protected monuments in the Netherlands. This change, stemming from the revised EPBD IV, requires owners to provide an energy label when selling, renting, or renewing rental agreements for monuments, removing a previous exemption.
