Domestic Private Rented Property Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) Regulations 2018
The MEES Regulations set a minimum energy efficiency level for domestic private rented properties in England and Wales. Since April 2020, most rented homes must have an EPC rating of E or above, unless exempt. Proposed changes aim for an EPC C rating by 2030.
